Many storm restoration roofing contractors promise new salesmen the sun, the moon, and the stars when they recruit them for the roof sales position, saying selling roofs is like “shooting fish in a barrel” and advertising that roof salesmen can easily make six figures in six months selling roofs in hail damaged areas or after hurricanes.
