This is my personal word for word close for insurance deals.
If your closing ratio is below 90% in insurance restoration sales, there's an easy fix.
The reality is, theoretically your closing percentage on insurance jobs should be damn near 100%.
We are practically giving roofs away to people who already need them with the financial aid of State Farm and Liberty Mutual.
Most roof sales reps are making 3 major errors in their presentation which results in, "We need to think about it," "Can you just leave us a bid," "Will you eat my deductible," and "We'd like to talk to our agent first":
❌ They're not explaining depreciation correctly, which results in homeowners wanting multiple bids and asking to have their deductible "waived."
❌ Their transition from presentation to asking for the order is clumsy AF and makes the prospect uncomfortable.
❌ They make the insurance company out to be the enemy which erodes the homeowner's trust.
